Effective feedback can be an important strategy in addressing the complex issues of student learning loss and improving teachers' professional practice. Utilizing elements of "Thanks for the Feedback" by Douglas Stone and Sheila Henn, this academy builds on the concepts in their work and adds research of others to create a vision and understanding of how to use feedback as a critical part of improving the teaching and learning environment and the overall pandemic-recovery plan of schools. Participants will work collaboratively to provide a description of effective feedback within the diversity, equity and inclusion values of classroom instruction. This knowledge will be used to enhance leadership skills in professional conversations with teachers focused on improving instructional culture and addressing student learning loss with effective feedback.

**Teacher Evaluator Retraining Courses — Completion of two academies is required to meet the retraining requirement -- one course that addresses Teacher Practice and, the other course addresses Student Growth. These two courses must be completed within the five-year renewal cycle and need not be completed within the same calendar year.
